The survey, conducted April 19 through June 15, received 79 valid responses from a mix of lifelong and longtime residents, newer residents, seasonal residents, former residents and visitors. The committee said the findings demonstrate strong community support for Historic Saluda Inc. and a desire for an authentic, community-driven museum focused on preserving local stories and traditions while providing educational opportunities. The results will be used to guide decisions involving exhibit development, programming, collections management, volunteer recruitment, fundraising and strategic planning for the Historic Saluda Museum.
