Overnight road closures on the U.S. 30 (Exton Bypass) will affect travel in Chester County beginning Wednesday, Aug. 12, and running through Friday, Aug. 21. The work is part of PennDOT's objectives to perform permanent sinkhole repairs at two locations between Business U.S. 30 and Clover Mill Road. From Wednesday, Aug. 12, through Monday, Aug. 17, westbound U.S. 30 will be closed, and traffic will be detoured on weeknights between Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue). Westbound drivers will use Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) to navigate around the road closure. Eastbound drivers will use Quarry Road, Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), and Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) to make their way around the road closure.
