Western Sydney residents will be able to fly to holiday destinations in Southeast Asia after Vietjet Air signed on to fly out of Western Sydney International Airport (WSI). From Sunday, January 10, 2027, Vietjet will operate two weekly services every Sunday and Wednesday to Ho Chi Minh City. WSI CEO Simon Hickey welcomed Vietjet to Sydney’s newest airport earlier this week saying the local communities will be delighted to get on board flights to Southeast Asia when services commence in the new year.
