St Clair High School reclaimed the NSW State Boccia Championship title after defeating defending champions Wagga Wagga High School 5-4 in the Grand Final at Sydney Olympic Park. St Clair’s journey to the State Finals began with the Western Sydney Secondary Schools Boccia Championships in May at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre. The championship is also a reflection of the commitment of Inclusive Education teacher and Boccia Coach Sijo Sebastian, who together with team manager Azmul Sahid, worked closely with the students to develop their skills and confidence over several years.
