Asked by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel whether Hong could defeat Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI), Evers said “probably not,” while describing Hong as “an extraordinarily talented person.”
Roughly 34% of Democratic primary voters were undecided.
“If Hong wins the race in Wisconsin, there are just donors who aren’t going to want to give to that,” Schale said.
“It’s going to be about the national political environment, the cost of living, and whether we can actually hire a different type of governor.”
“I do not support the full platform of the national DSA, and I am not endorsed by DSA National,” Hong said during a recent debate.
