On the way into Singleton the tour organisers the Victorian Racing Club representatives along with two-time Melbourne Cup winning jockey Corey Brown and local sponsors of the event the Horse & Jockey Hotel's Dale McNamara and his manager Daniel Storey visited the grave of Peter Pan, the thoroughbred champion who was born and is buried at 'Baroona' Whittingham and who like Mr Brown was famous for winning the Melbourne Cup twice, in 1932 and 1934.
