The long-running West Huntspill Horticultural Show is set to blossom once again as it returns this Saturday, August 15th. The village’s first Flower Show – combined with the Harvest Home – was held in 1901 in Mr Tilley’s ‘Chestnut Field’. The show has been held at the Balliol Hall since its permanent move there in 1975. A society spokesperson says: “We look forward to a great turnout of entries for our popular show. It’s a long-running tradition in the village, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back.”
