Sphere Entertainment is marking the first anniversary of The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, the technology-driven film experience that debuted at the futuristic Las Vegas venue on Aug. 28, 2025, and has since grown into one of the city's most attended attractions. Since its opening, the production has been staged more than 850 times, drawing over 3.6 million guests from all 50 states and more than 140 countries, and generating more than $450 million in ticket sales, according to Sphere Entertainment. Audiences experience the film through Sphere's 160,000-square-foot LED media plane, its 167,000-speaker Sphere Immersive Sound system, haptic seats, and 4D effects. To mark the occasion, Sphere will roll out a series of exclusive in-venue anniversary activations for guests attending performances from Monday, Aug. 10, through Wednesday, Sept. 30. Details on the specific offerings were not immediately released.
