Local golfers Patience Rhodes and Davina Xanh of Burnham & Berrow Golf Club have played key roles in helping England Women win their Home Internationals, rounding off a hugely successful week of competition for the national squads. England Golf’s Girls’ & Boys’ Team also continued their remarkable record by winning the combined Home Internationals for the sixth consecutive year. England Girls’ & Boys’ Captain Jamie O’Connor praised the determination shown across both squads, saying the coaches and staff were incredibly proud of the players after a week of close, hard‑fought contests. The Women enjoyed victories over Scotland, Wales and Ireland, with Charlotte Naughton winning all five of her matches. The Men secured wins over Scotland and Wales before a final‑day defeat to Ireland, edging the individual title on match points.
