The proposed rates are intended to generate the property tax revenue required under the city’s budget. Real estate accounts for $41,313,155 of the 2026 assessed valuation, compared with $41,296,935 in 2025. The maximum tax rate ceiling is 1.0000, while the rate after the sales tax rollback is .9751. Its maximum tax rate ceiling is .3000, with a rate of .1842 after the sales tax rollback.
