Kazuhisa Wada, series producer on the Persona franchise, has given the strongest hint yet that the first two entries in the long-running RPG series may get the remake treatment during a chat with GamerBraves. “At this point, I can’t say for sure, but personally, I think it’s something we should definitely do. I think we have to do it,” said Wada-san, making it clear that Atlus may very well consider remaking Persona 1 and Persona 2 at some point. Revelations: Persona was originally released in 1996 in the US and Japan, but didn’t see the light of day in Europe until the 2010 PSP version. Meanwhile, Persona 2: Innocent Sin launched in 1999 for the PSOne, but remained exclusive to Japanese territories until the arrival of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2 — Innocent Sin for the PSP in 2011.
