Kennett man dies days after e-bike crash with city patrol vehicle

Click the + Icon To See Additional Sharing OptionsA Kennett man died three days after an e-bike collided with a patrol vehicle Thursday afternoon in Kennett, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol reported a 47-year-old Kennett man was riding a Ridstar e-bike eastbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled into the path of a southbound 2026 Dodge Durango patrol vehicle.
The e-bike rider was injured and transported by Survival Flight to Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Kennett man was pronounced dead by Dr. A. Romero at Regional One Health Hospital at 1:58 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9.
The Highway Patrol listed the death as Troop E’s 35th traffic fatality of 2026.
