Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has come under intense criticism after a molten-wax task left contestants screaming in pain in the latest episode. The task involved contestants Rubina Dilaik, Ruhaanika Dhawan, Harsh Gujral and Vishal Aditya Singh enduring molten wax poured on their hands. Participants had to collect and hold hot wax on their hands for ten minutes in order to save themselves from elimination. Ruhaanika Dhawan was visibly devastated during the task, crying out in pain as the hot wax caused her significant and visible distress. “A ‘pain auction’ with pellet guns and hot wax on bare skin is just cruel and dehumanising.”
