Nellore: Nellore Municipal Corporation in association with Narayana Medical College Hospital, organised a special two-day free medical camp for employees of all departments at the corporation office premises on Thursday. Municipal Commissioner YO Nandan visited the camp, reviewed the medical services being provided to employees, and also underwent a health check-up. The Commissioner said the medical camp was organised as part of Swachh Survekshan initiative under the Union government’s campaign slogan ‘Safai Apnao – Bimari Bhagao’, aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles among sanitation workers. He urged all employees, particularly sanitation workers of Municipal Corporation, to make full use of the two-day free medical camp. He said such initiatives play a vital role in safeguarding health of sanitation workers, who are at the forefront of maintaining public hygiene.
