The Jasper RC Flyers held their annual Fun-Fly on Saturday, August 8, bringing approximately 65 pilots, spectators, friends and family members to the club’s flying field in Jasper. The event, which has been a Jasper RC Flyers tradition for at least 20 years, gives RC pilots from around the region an opportunity to get together, fly, and enjoy the hobby. Many of the visiting pilots commented on how much they enjoy coming to the Jasper event each year and getting together with other pilots. For the Jasper RC Flyers, however, the purpose of the Fun-Fly goes beyond the number of people attending.
