Tavern in the Square has announced plans to expand operations in the Greater Boston area. According to a Boston Restaurant Talk blog post, Quincy, Norwell, and North Andover are slated to get new Tavern in the Square outposts over the next several months. These communities will join several others for the chain in the Greater Boston region and beyond. Tavern in the Square began in Cambridge's Central Square more than two decades ago. The popular chain continues to offer classic American fare alongside beer, wine, and cocktails.
