PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) price set by PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN Inacom) rose on Monday (Aug. 10, 2026), while Malaysia’s palm oil futures climbed to their highest closing level in more than four months. Meanwhile, Malaysian palm oil futures strengthened on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Monday, reaching their highest closing level since early April. According to Reuters, the benchmark October 2026 Malaysian palm oil futures contract rose RM47, or about 1%, to RM4,724 per metric ton. Strength in soybean oil and palm oil futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange provided additional support for Malaysia’s palm oil market. Data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), released Monday, showed that Malaysia’s palm oil stocks rose 3.32% month-on-month to 2.63 million metric tons in July 2026.
