African Biochar Alliance Summit to advance Africa’s food security, green economy and climate-smart agriculture agendaThe African Biochar Alliance Summit will take place in Lusaka, Zambia, from 27–28 October 2026, bringing together leaders across agriculture, sustainability, finance, development, green economy, project implementation and climate-smart agriculture.
The speaker programme will feature high-level voices from the green economy, agriculture, sustainability, finance, project development and climate sectors, including Dr. Douty Chibamba, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Green Economy & Environment, Zambia, as Keynote Speaker.

The Summit will also connect to the wider African Biochar Alliance platform, which is being developed to support data-driven, farmer-focused projects across Africa.
