Taramati Baradari turned magical as Chowrangee's "Monsoon Magic: Rising Stars from Kolkata to Kochi" brought together India's young musical talent for an evening blending Hindustani classical, ghazal, folk and contemporary sounds. Vocalist Srinath Nair led an ensemble including Rajdeep Mukherjee, Kaanjana Sriram and Sameel Sikkani on tabla, with the monsoon backdrop adding its own charm to the heritage venue. Dr. Santanu Paul, President of Chowrangee, called it a spellbinding mix of languages and genres, evoking legends like Hariharan and Ghulam Ali. The audience responded with standing ovations, proving music still knows no boundaries of geography or genre.
