Elizabeth Ruiz, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and church family. Elizabeth was born on May 29, 1951, to Luis Angel Gonzalez and Ana Mendez in Santurce, Puerto Rico. At Camino de Paz Christian Church, Elizabeth served for many years in the hospitality ministry, prepared VBS snacks and faithfully participated in women’s ministry activities. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Maria Elena Gonzalez Mendez, Luz Gonzalez Camacho, Jose Torres Mendez and Rosalina Torres Mendez, as well as beloved nieces, nephews, and her church family at Camino de Paz Christian Church.
