ATHENS, Ohio — Several members of the Ohio General Assembly will spend a day training like osteopathic medical students Aug. 21, when Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine hosts its “DO for a Day” program at Heritage Hall on the university’s Athens campus. Participants are scheduled to tour the anatomy laboratory, take part in osteopathic manipulative medicine demonstrations, practice clinical skills and meet with medical students and faculty. The Heritage College has been a focus of the university’s recent budget and research priorities, including investments tied to its health institutes.
