Morocco was drawn in Group A of the 2026 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations on Monday along with Libya, Zambia, and Algeria, according to Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP). The draw for the tournament, which will be held in Morocco from October 12 to 21, took place at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé. Group B includes Egypt, Angola, Mozambique, and Tanzania. Morocco enters the tournament as three-time defending champions after winning the continental title in 2016, 2020, and 2024. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has said the tournament reflects the continued growth of African futsal in quality, popularity, and international stature.
