Two-time Dakar Rally champion Sam Sunderland will take on a world record attempt in September that he was due to try in 2025, before suffering a broken back. Sunderland will begin his world record attempt in London, where he will depart aboard a Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer, on September 5. The record time that Sunderland will attempt to beat has stood for more than two decades, and represents a huge challenge. The Red Bull-liveried Triumph that Sam Sunderland will ride. The final leg of his attempt will see Sunderland ride from Casablanca, Morocco back to London.
