Jack Hillgrove, former sports anchor at WTOV in Wheeling/Steubenville and grandson of legendary Pittsburgh broadcaster Bill Hillgrove, will host “PST,” which will air on Sinclair Broadcast Group’s WPGH in Pittsburgh, WJAC in Johnstown/Altoona/State College and WTOV. “As soon as Tim announced at WTOV he was planning to accept the position at WPGH and oversee both stations, the conversation started pretty much immediately,” Hillgrove said. “He told us it was really about creating an identity at WPGH as far as local programming goes. “I love all those sports teams, and anytime I had an opportunity to cover them for WTOV was a dream come true,” Hillgrove continued. … HBO Max is making a documentary about the 2000-07 series “Gilmore Girls,” but the film does not yet have an airdate.
