The delegation was led by Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, CEO of the NHA, and included Dr. Pankaj Arora, Director, NHA, and Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, Deputy Secretary, NHA. Saju Waheed A, Mission Director, National Health Mission, Tripura; G. Sarat Naik, CEO, Ayushman Bharat and State Mission Director; and Dr. Nirmal Sarkar, Superintendent of IGM Hospital, were also present during the inspection. The visit focused on taking Ayushman Bharat initiatives from policy implementation to actual point-of-care delivery. The officials interacted with beneficiaries to understand their experiences and reviewed the functioning of the Health Management Information System (HMIS) and digital health services. Particular attention was given to the creation and use of ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account), Digital Health Records and OPD registration through the “Scan & Register” facility.
