POLICE Scotland officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the A82 at Spean Bridge, Lochaber. The incident happened around 6.40pm on Monday, 10 August, near the Commando Memorial and involved a grey BMW GS850 motorbike with distinctive yellow wheels and a white Scania R450 lorry. The road was closed for crash investigation work and re-opened around 1.15am on Tuesday, 11 August. Sergeant Chris Donaldson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we area appealing for information that could assist with our investigation. Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2749 of Monday, 10 August, 2026.
