Under the initiative, students are being encouraged to prepare colourful letters appealing to family members, friends and peers to hoist the Tricolour at their homes and participate in the campaign with pride and responsibility. The letters are also expected to act as a bridge between schools and families, encouraging wider community participation in the campaign. Alongside the letter-writing initiative, the School Education Department is organising a series of activities, including patriotic rallies, Alpona competitions, art competitions, Tricolour Rakhi competitions and essay-writing competitions on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. Schools are also preparing Tricolour-themed Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) for NIPUN Corners, adding a creative dimension to classroom learning. With students emerging as messengers of the campaign, the initiative seeks to transform ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ from a ceremonial observance into a participatory movement, with schools serving as catalysts for community involvement.
