An attempt at reconstructing ancient Arabic peninsula “culture”? Fact is that even during the powerful Abbasid Calif Haroun Al Rashid, Persian culture and civilization had infiltrated all institutions, though written in Arabic language that the Persian scholars expanded and codified it. All these additions were done by the Arabic speaking Persian scholars. A grass root of Arabic scholars realized that whatever culture they had will vanish to challenge the Persian civilization. A trend was established that Arabic writers and poets were to travel to Arabic tribes and “learn the proper origianl” terms of the Arabic language used among the original Bedouins.
