A 38-year-old man, Fedelix Ogboi, on Tuesday appeared before an Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for alleged N600,000 fraud. Ogboi, whose address was not provided, is facing a three-count charge of breach of peace, fraud, and stealing. The Prosecutor, SP Benedict Aigbokhan, told the court that the defendant committed the offences in March at No.22 Ifelodun St. Kudeibu, in Ijegun area of Lagos. Aigbokhan alleged that the defendant collected the N600,000 from the complainant, Mr Olaniyi Adebayo, for a room in his apartment, but failed to accommodate him. He said that the offences contravened Sections 168(d), 287, and 314 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
