The World Test Championship (WTC) final race is taking shape, with Australia, South Africa and New Zealand occupying the top three places, while India faces a steep climb to qualify for the summit clash.
Australia face South Africa and India away from home in October 2026 and January 2027, respectively.
Among their opponents, New Zealand have India at home followed by four Tests against Australia away, before a two-Test home series against Sri Lanka.
They first face Sri Lanka away, then New Zealand away, before the five-Test home series against Australia.
Bangladesh have two Tests away against Australia, starting on Thursday, and two away against South Africa in November.
