NET Web DeskThe Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO), Sadar Hills, Kangpokpi district, strongly condemned the alleged burning of civilian houses by suspected cadres of the NSCN-IM at Kailenjang village in Kangpokpi district on Tuesday afternoon. According to the KSO, the incident occurred at around 1:30 pm and involved suspected armed cadres. The KSO alleged that the incident was an attempt to sabotage the peace process and create fear among villagers. It also appealed to Naga groups to maintain peace, noting that several Naga villages are located in Kangpokpi district. The KSO urged law-enforcement agencies to immediately identify and arrest those responsible for the alleged arson and take legal action against them.
