Staff ReportShelby Jacobs Jr.LIGONIER – A Ligonier man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a Taco Bell restaurant and causing extensive damage. Shelby Jacobs Jr., 50, 438 Cadillac St., Ligonier, is charged with burglary, a level 5 felony. On Aug. 1, Ligonier Police officers responded to Taco Bell regarding a report of a person being inside the restaurant after it had closed. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located Jacobs inside the business. Upon further investigation, it was believed Jacobs entered Taco Bell through an unsecured drive-through window after the employees left.
