The ranking places AGMC among India’s top 150 medical institutions and makes it the fourth-highest ranked medical institution in the Northeast. Among medical institutions in the Northeast, AIIMS Guwahati emerged as the regional leader, securing the 30th position nationally. The comparison also places AGMC within close reach of established medical institutions in neighbouring northeastern states.
