Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was shortly hospitalized in the general hospital of Chania on the island of Crete after an accident with his bicycle yesterday Monday. According to information from local media zarpanews.gr, the accident occurred when the front wheel of the bicycle “slipped”, causing the Prime Minister to lose his balance and fall to the ground. Late on Monday afternoon, the Prime Minister visited the outpatient clinic of Chania Hospital where he was examined by doctors and underwent the necessary screening examination. After the examinations were completed and it was determined that there was no cause for concern, Mitsotakis left the hospital and continued his schedule as normal. Chania is the hometown of the Greek Prime Minister who owns a mansion there and spends part of his vacations in summer or Easter.
