News ReleaseELKHART COUNTY – Purdue Extension Elkhart County invites farmers, landowners and producers to a private applicator program from 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Despite the event being a customer appreciation program for Crop Tech, the public is invited and one may also attend for educational purposes without receiving private applicator credit.
Thus if one’s license expires Dec. 31, 2027, one must have taken at least one program prior to the end of 2026.
Adam Shanks, Purdue Extension will have his drone and discuss cover crop seeding with a demonstration in the adjacent field.
Last prior to a lunch as part of Crop Tech’s customer appreciation that is open to the public, Mark Evans, Purdue Extension, will cover the private applicator regulatory topic for 2026 related to the Endangered Species Act.
