Fishers, at 15700 Southeastern Pkwy., is the retailer’s 45th in Indiana and its second Meijer Grocery in the state. The store follows the Aug. 19 opening of a Meijer Grocery in Livonia, the fourth in Michigan. Meijer entered Indiana in 1994 and employs more than 13,000 in the state, including at distribution and manufacturing operations in Middlebury. Meijer operates more than 500 supercenters, grocery stores, neighborhood markets and express locations in the Midwest with more than 70,000 team members.
