The University of Montana Paleontology Center (UMPC) collection manager is Kallie Moore , often known as the “Fossil Librarian”. She has managed the university’s roughly 40,000-specimen fossil collection housed in the Charles H. Clapp Building (CHCB) since 2008 and is also well-known as a co-host of the educational YouTube series PBS Eons. These specimens are housed in 192 metal cases that are part of a Space-Saver compactor system that can accommodate future growth.
