A Kansas City man is being held without bond after police say a 56-year-old woman was stabbed repeatedly inside a Carthage, Missouri, apartment. They found the woman suffering from multiple stab wounds and cuts to her face, neck, torso and arms, according to the Carthage Police Department. Authorities located and arrested him around 3:30 p.m.Jasper County prosecutors charged Roberts with first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. Roberts remained in the Greene County Jail. Police said he was also arrested on outstanding warrants from Webb City, Carthage and the Missouri Department of Probation and Parole.
