The Takam Mising Porin Kébang (TMPK) has listed two key demands over the Badati-Mingmang violence on the Assam-Arunachal border. TMPK has also demanded legal and departmental action against any Arunachal Pradesh Police personnel found involved, along with swift and impartial steps to uphold law and order. TMPK clarified that the blockade is a “democratic and peaceful movement for justice, security and accountability” and is “not directed against any particular community or against the ordinary people of Arunachal Pradesh.” TMPK has urged both the Assam and Arunachal Pradesh governments to intervene immediately and deliver justice.
