A police warning has been issued about the risks of arson after two small fires got out of control and spread. NWP Wrexham Rural said it has received a number of reports about deliberate fires in the area during this summer, including two incidents in Brynteg and Minera on Monday, 10 August. Police said the force and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to both incidents after the fires got out of control and spread. NWP Wrexham Rural said the continued heat and dry weather poses a real risk of fire spreading rapidly. Are they aware of the risks of an open, uncontrolled fire?.”
