Taiz — Newly released images have revealed the scale of destruction inflicted on Mokha Port, west of Taiz in Yemen, following a Houthi attack involving more than 21 ballistic missiles and suicide drones on Sunday. According to Mokha Port authorities, the bombardment killed four workers and injured others, in addition to the death of a facility security guard. Escalating Houthi AttacksThe strike on the port comes amid renewed Houthi missile and drone assaults on sites held by government‑aligned forces across several parts of Yemen. One missile targeted Mokha Port, while two others struck a government site in the city. In recent days, the Houthis have carried out multiple missile and drone attacks on gatherings of government forces in Mokha (Taiz governorate), Al‑Khokha (Hodeidah governorate), as well as in Marib and Hadramout.
