Abu Dhabi — The UAE Cybersecurity Council announced Monday that national cyber defense systems successfully detected and thwarted advanced, coordinated cyberattacks aimed at the country’s aviation, energy, and education sectors. The council emphasized that the response was proactive and immediate, containing infiltration attempts before attackers could achieve their objectives or disrupt essential systems and services. National cybersecurity teams successfully intercepted the malicious activities, traced their pathways, and implemented technical measures to neutralize and prevent their spread. The council highlighted that the country’s integrated monitoring and response framework operated at the highest level of readiness, ensuring simultaneous containment and protection measures across affected systems. This, it noted, safeguarded the security and continuity of the targeted sectors.
