On Friday, there was a survey on a Oregon government website to get feedback on how the state’s transportation dollars should be spent. Taking it down, though, is a symptom of just how touchy the transportation funding question is in Oregon. Legislators had trouble coming up with a package to pay for the state’s road operations and maintenance. Kotek’s committee is trying to come up with a plan for what Oregon should pay for and options on how to pay for it.
