Starting any business in Guyana in the early 90s was bold and challenging. I started a fire and safety equipment business in early 1994, operating out of my car and my small flat. Stanley was kind enough to rent me a container in his Urquhart St. premises. I fondly remember Stanley, Mr. Ming (Cyril), Mr. Sulieman, Michelle and Audrey being so supportive even after we moved.
