Kuwait has withdrawn citizenship from more than 180 Yemeni nationals who had previously obtained Kuwaiti nationality, according to a report by Al‑Qabas newspaper citing Yemen’s ambassador to Kuwait, Ali Mansour bin Safa’a. The ambassador confirmed that those affected returned to the Yemeni embassy in Kuwait to reclaim their original nationality. He noted that the embassy has already received their files in preparation for completing the necessary legal and administrative procedures to restore Yemeni citizenship.
