Hexham Courant | News
The event begins at 7pm on Tuesday, September 8, with tickets available from £3 and starting at the Queen’s Hall foyer.
The guided walk, presented by Queen’s Hall Arts in collaboration with Kielder Observatory, the Kielder Partnership, and the Northumberland National Park Authority, will be led by Duncan Wise, lead officer for dark skies at the national park authority.
Participants will also use bat detectors to identify any bats seen during the walk and learn how to use a Sky Quality Meter to monitor light pollution and discover simple ways to reduce it.
The event lasts around two hours, and attendees are advised to dress appropriately for the outdoor evening activity.
Tickets are available from the Queen's Hall website.
