City of Marshall accepting applications for boards, commissions

The city of Marshall is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on a board or commission.
Boards and commissions provide resident input on a variety of city topics, including parks, historic preservation, zoning, downtown development, tourism, library services, beautification and community development.
“Serving on a board or commission is an opportunity to share knowledge and help shape the future of Marshall,” city officials said in a statement.
Appointments will be made by the City Council, and terms will begin in January.
