For 19 years, the Christian Restoration Community has given vets a roof over their heads as they work to rebuild their lives. Six veterans are living at the housing community, and Christian wants that number to reach 20 or so on the land she already has. Veterans can receive assistance paying their rent through the HUD-VASH (Housing and Urban Development — Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing) program. He learned about the Christian Restoration Community through the VA and has lived there for about six months. He went to CampV in Tyler, a nonprofit organization serving veterans, where he learned about Endeavors and the restoration community.
