There’s a surprising figure you may not expect is skeptical about how successful GTA 6 is going to be. In a new interview with CNBC show Squawk Box, host Andrew Ross Sorkin asked Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick about how they have to deliver on the excitement and hype for the game. This may seem surprising as you would expect Strauss to overhype GTA 6. As we’ve said before, this could be interpreted as financial analysts giving Take-Two and Rockstar enough rope to hang themselves with. So one can understand why Strauss and Take-Two would be wary of taking that supposed praise on its face.
