CCG announced the intake with the company active on 39 sites across Scotland, which will ultimately deliver 1,582 all-tenure homes, student accommodation and care residences. “This is our largest trade intake since before the pandemic, and it comes at a time when many businesses across the sector, particularly SMEs, are under real pressure. In addition to the trade apprenticeship intake, CCG said it has created 13 new traineeships, in disciplines such as quantity surveying, assistant site management, construction management and design. Lynn Stodart, group HR Manager at CCG (Scotland), added: “We are extremely proud of our apprenticeship programme, as it is about far more than filling trade roles. CCG attributed this to its “reputation, track record and the strength of its people”; there are currently 645 people employed across the group.
